Space planning specialist. Each project is unique with a common goal to increase performance through a balance of vision, aesthetics and building codes. This is achieved through a variety of applications listed.
Vision is seeing something as it could be. My gift as a designer is applying a concept to a space that creates an ambiance of timelessness, inspiration and comfort. My style has been developed by the vanguard architecture of Southern California and sprinkled with a influences from adventures I’ve experienced around the world from New York, Miami, Europe, the Caribbean to Thailand. I love contrast, balance, emphasis, white space, proportion, rhythm, pattern, unity and variety mixed with personal touches. Modern eclectic vibes!
Interior Design
Small upgrades to total renovations. Interior design is a detailed process of listening, planning and applying. Interior design is the art and science of understanding people's behavior to create functional spaces within a building, while interior decorating is the furnishing or adorning of a space with decorative elements to achieve a certain aesthetic. In short, interior designers may decorate, but decorators do not design.
Space Planning
Interior architectural design. Moving walls, open floor plans, and finding otherwise dead space and working it into the an area that would make most use of it. Space planning is a fundamental element of the interior design process. It starts with an in-depth analysis of how the space is to be used. The designer then draws up a plan that defines the zones of the space and the activities that will take place in those zones. Space planning organizes the space, furniture and functions to work together and most effectively accommodate the needs of the employees and visitors. When creative planning techniques are used in organizing a space, studies show employee engagement, client retention and innovation are boosted.
