I am an artist, interior designer and passionate about space planning. I’ve been an architecture associate for the past ten years and worked in the hospitality industry for over fifteen years. Interior design has been apart of me my whole life. I grew up in San Diego and graduated college at the Design Institute of San Diego. I’ve worked for local architecture and design firms where I was guided by very talented mentors. I simultaneously perfected my craft at space planning by collaborating with a local facilities manager for five years. Our focus was how an environment influences the occupants to perform at their best.
I ventured out on my own design rendezvous to the Caribbean where I was afforded the opportunity to delve into branding development for hotels and restaurant design. I have now happily settled back home with my new family. Recently residential interior architecture, space planning and plans for permits have become my new norm. My personal style is modern eclectic, however my clients style is always the most important. BKLM is my brand for Brooklyn Martin Design. Thank you for your time and consideration.
